A 56-year-old man ended up filing an embezzlement complaint against his employer, police said on Saturday. An incitement to suicide case has been filed against the company’s managing director, Ghanshyam Das Agarwal, and his son and company director, Vinamra Aggarwal, in this regard, police said.
Rajendra Prasad died while hanging from a tree in a cemetery in the Ram Chanda mission area, after which the relatives of the deceased filed a complaint of incitement to suicide, the officer of the circle (town) Akhand told PTI. Pratap Singh.
The company’s management had filed an embezzlement case of Rs 50 lakh against Prasad on August 6. He was also threatened by management that he would not get his gratuity amount and would have to go to jail, the officer said.
The family said Prasad disappeared from the house on Wednesday and his body was found on Friday. Singh said a case was registered in the names of relatives of the deceased on Friday night.
Police are investigating the case, action will be taken against the accused based on the evidence found, he added.
