From BBN staff: A 22-year-old Belize City resident is out on bail after being charged with breaking into his former employer’s home and stealing a number of items.

Mark Arnold was arraigned in Belize City Magistrates Court on a single count of burglary, to which he pleaded not guilty.

The prosecution did not object to bail, so it was granted to him for the sum of $3,000 plus two sureties of the same.

The allegations against Arnold are that on Saturday, April 30, he broke into the victim’s Bermudan Landing home and stole an assortment of items with a total value of $505.

The victim viewed camera footage of his home and identified his former employee, Mark Arnold, to police.
