Huddersfield Town nominated for the Menopause Friendly Employer Awards!

Huddersfield Town has been named a finalist in the industry recognized Menopause Friendly Employer Awards, organized by HSBC UK, first direct and M&S Bank.

Organized by Menopause Friendly and supported by the CIPD, the inaugural Menopause Friendly Employer Awards attracted more than 85 nominations in 10 categories. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 22nd September 2022 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, St Paul’s. The event will be hosted by broadcaster Louise Minchin where 180 guests will attend in person while hundreds more join via live link from across the country.

The city was shortlisted in the Most Supportive Partner category. This award will be given to the organization that goes the extra mile to encourage and inspire outside organizations to take action and start conversations about menopause in the workplace.

“The level of hard work and activity demonstrated by participants in the first-ever Menopause Friendly Employer Awards was very high,” said Deborah Garlick, CEO of Henpicked: Menopause in The Workplace.

We were particularly pleased to see applications from predominantly male organisations, including Huddersfield Town Football Club.
